There is a model aircraft flying site behind the prison at Wormwood Scrubs in London, way back near the railway lines behind a clump of trees. If you look on the map below it’s just above where it says ‘Wormwood Scrubs Park’

People are regularly flying both fixed wing model airplanes and model helicopters. Number are higher on sunny weekends, but evenings are open to electric flyers. The IC times are a little more restrictive, but the byelaws are clearly posted.
